The health of Governor Akeredolu has become a subject of political discussions, which is a disrespectful and evil act that we must all condemn.
Governor Akeredolu has done so much for Ondo State since he assumed office in 2017. His administration has made significant strides in the areas of infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and security. He has also initiated several programs aimed at improving the lives of the people of Ondo State. Despite his achievements, some politicians have chosen to use his health as a political tool to cause a rift between him and his deputy.
It is disheartening to see politicians use the health of a sitting governor for political gains. Governor Akeredolu deserves our respect, and his health should not be a subject of political discussions. Furthermore, the demonization of the deputy governor due to political reasons is an evil act that should not be condoned. The deputy governor has not complained that power has not been transmitted to him, nor has he been unable to perform his duties as delegated by the governor, who is not incapacitated. The deputy governor has been supportive of the governor, and his loyalty to the administration should be commended.
We must remember that politics should not be a do-or-die affair, and the health of any public figure should not be used as a tool for political gain. Politicians must be mindful of the consequences of their actions and avoid actions that could cause division and disunity.
