US President Donald Trump’s approval rating has hit a new low, a new poll shows.
According to a Gallup poll released Sunday, the businessman-turned-president’s approval rating dropped to 37.
Gallup, which polled about 1,500 adults nationwide, also noted that the economic confidence index was down 3 points to 7.
The previous version of the same poll showed the New York billionaire with a 42 percent approval rating.
According to a Real Clear Politics average of recent polls, the Republican president enjoys 43.7 approval rating and is disapproved by 50.3 percent.
The percentage of those opposing the new president soared a few percent in the Gallup poll at 58 percent.
The results of the pool, which has a three percent margin of error, are based on interviews with about 1,500 adults.
The results were published as Republicans were busy whipping up enough support in order to repeal and replace ObamaCare.
The poll was also released at a time that the president is being challenged by a federal judge in Hawaii over his revised travel ban, issued via an executive order, against a few Muslim-majority countries on the pretext of war on terror.
The real estate tycoon and reality TV star has vowed to fight the judge's ruling.
"We're going to take our case as far as it needs to go, including all the way up to the Supreme Court,” Trump said at a rally in Tennessee this week. “We're going to win… The danger is clear. The law is clear. The need for my executive order is clear."
